MEAD IN DEVON surrounded by stunning golden beaches and rugged coastline, we have been inspired to make a range of sparkling meads using the finest ingredients and orange blossom honey.
All our products are made by hand, WITH LOVE, and are free from both gluten and Viking references!
What is mead?
In its most basic form mead is an alcoholic beverage made from just two ingredients – honey and water - fermented with yeast. It was the drink of the Vikings and for centuries traditionally consumed during the 30 days after a wedding, a period that became known as . . . a honeymoon (think you can probably see where this is going!).
